When to List Halloween Products on Etsy
Halloween is the most seasonal niche in our 20-niche Google demand study: October alone captures 57.4%of the year's demand, and the October peak of 17,955,590 Google demand is 75.5x the February trough of 89,100. Demand starts climbing hard in August, more than doubling over July, so the practical listing deadline is July or August: list after that and you're publishing into a month that's already near its peak, with no runway for Etsy search to pick your listing up before shoppers move on.

When the climb starts
Google demand for Halloween keywords stays low from February through July: 89,100 in February, still only 741,340 in July. The real climb starts in August, when demand jumps to 2,623,890, more than 3.5x the July figure. September nearly triples again to 8,239,980, and October peaks at 17,955,590 before collapsing back to 712,650 in November.
That means the listing deadline sits before the August jump: July or August. Etsy listings take time to get indexed and start ranking, so a listing published in September is already racing a curve that's about to peak and fall, not climb.
Bottom line: have Halloween listings live by the end of July, or August at the very latest, to catch the climb instead of the tail end of the spike.
